Emily is a principal soprano with Blossom Street (dir. Hilary Campbell), St Martin's Voices (dir. Andrew Earis) and Seren Singers (dir. Ben Pinnow). She is on the deputy lists for the Gabrieli Consort, Sansara, St Margaret's Knightsbridge, St Mary's Bourne Street and St Pancras. She is an ex-chorister of The Chapel Choir of King's College London and the BBC National Chorus of Wales. During her time in Cardiff at the RWCMD, she sang regularly for services with Cardiff Metropolitan and Llandaff Cathedrals, as well as weekly services at Newman Hall. She has recently completed an extensive recording project with Blossom Street, recording solo and and choral lines in major choral works across the canon. She is a confident reader & engaging performer - experienced in performing work ranging from early Renaissance polyphony to contemporary jazz and pop arrangements.
Emily has extensive experience as a soloist across operatic, sacred and concert repertoire. Recent and upcoming highlights from her work as a soloist on the concert platform include: Bach's Magnificat (Gloucester Cathedral, 2018) and St Matthew Passion (Monmouth Choral Society, 2017); Mozart's Requiem (Gloucester Cathedral, 2018; St Anne's Orchestra, 2016), Great Mass in C Minor (The Academy of St Martin-in-the-Fields, 2017); Fauré's Requiem (Llandaff Cathedral, 2017; Durweston Choral Society, 2016); Poulenc's Gloria (Llandaff Cathedral, 2017); Beethoven's 9th Symphony (London Beethoven Cycle, 2017); Vivaldi's Gloria (St Martin's Voices, 2017); Brahms' Requiem (Durweston Choral Society, 2016) and Verdi's Requiem (Gloucester Cathedral, 2016; Oxford Bach Choir, 2015). Opera roles include Susanna in The Marriage of Figaro (Opera in a Box, 2017), Cendrillon in Cendrillon (Bute Park Opera, 2016), Ann Trulove in The Rake's Progress (Bristol Opera, 2016) and Cathleen in Riders to the Sea (Bute Park Opera, 2015). Scenes include the title role in selections from Anna Nicole (Music Theatre Wales, 2016), Adele in Die Fledermaus (Sugarloaf Opera, 2016), Alice Ford in The Merry Wives of Windsor (Sugarloaf Opera, 2016) and Adina in L'elisir d'amore (Sugarloaf Opera, 2016).
